About Julia

As a member of the National Honors Society, a National Merit Commended student and a peer tutor at my school, my goal is to ensure an organized, professional, and welcoming environment for students. As a former member of the Forensics team at my school and active participant in a debate class, I have also spoken to large companies about the importance of accessibility. I read a huge variety of literature and excelled in my first semester of AP Literature. I have also completed a variety of other literature courses, and received a 5 on my AP English Language and Composition Exam last spring.

I am eager to help elementary, middle and high school students become clearer thinkers and writers, dynamic presenters and engaged readers with a breadth of vocabulary and technique. Through online lessons, I will help students build their vocabularies, guide them toward analyzing and loving literature, help students work at all points in the writing process to ensure they can express their individuality with precision, and coach students in how to better verbally express themselves, all according to what the student needs most. I love to learn, and will always work to improve my methods.
