Academic English Tutor -- grammar, creative writing, essay writing, oratory (public speaking), some literature (including Shakespeare)

Methodology

As a tutor, I work with each student independently to help them in those areas where they need the help. Rather than a formal classroom situation, I create a dialogue with my students to better assess their needs. With the student's permission, I will also reach out to their current teacher to see in which area the student needs work.

Background

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and English Education. I spent a year teaching grammar and oratory on the high school level. I am well-versed in Shakespeare and have a smattering of literature and poetry as well.
