I'm happy to give lessons to anyone who wishes to broaden their studio practice -- whether you are an artist who simply wants to explore a new medium (like printmaking), a drawer who simply wants practice and structure from a more advanced artist, or a first-timer who's hardly touched a paintbrush, I'll meet you where you're at and help you advance to where you want to me!
I am an artist who specializes in drawing, printmaking, and watercolor. Though I am primarily an Art Historian, my studio practice is very important to me. I was the Arts Program Director at a summer camp for two years and know how to approach both first-timers and advanced artists.
Cancellation is 24 hours before an in-person lesson or up to an hour before a webcam lesson.

I took a Conceptual Art class with Abi in Florence last year. I was truly surprised by her breathtaking drawings and pieces.
Sheās a great artist and an amazing person! Recommend 100%
I studied art with Abi in Florence and I took a tour from her around the Church of Santa Croce. She is one of the most knowledgeable people I have met in relation to art history, and her passion for it is clear in her explanations. I had already visited Santa Croce on several occasions, but hearing her talk about it was like seeing the church for the first time. She knew facts I had never heard before. Listening to her will make you understand why you should love art.
Abi is one of the best art and art historians I have come to know. I first met her when she was the teaching assistant for my humanities class and after the first tutoring session, listening to her knowledge and easy presence, she always left it as a discussion. She was really able to bring the materials to life in a way that made them relevant through the context she explained. We have gone on many trips to museums and each time I left with a deeper understanding of art history culture and its impact on today's culture. So brilliant and easy going. I still go to her for art discussions and her words have always stuck in my mind. Amazing and unforgettable teacher.
