About Michael

I taught elementary and middle school for 28 years. After I left teaching due to a severe hearing loss I taught myself how to write. I authored over 80 articles published in print magazines such as Highlights for Children and Writer's Digest. I'm also the author of 5 published YA novels--The Koolura Series, Goodbye Tchaikovsky, and The Abduction of Joshua Bloom.

For 40 years I've also tutored children, teens, and young adults in a wide variety of subjects including writing, math, reading, and English.
