About Rachel

I have been tutoring for six years, and taught approximately 13 students over the course of that time. I had four students in high school I peer tutored and nine in college I tutored. Both my high school and college students improved a letter grade and a half. My students earned a good grade and received credit they needed to graduate and felt more confident in their Spanish abilities.

Hello!
I offer lessons to from students in high school 9-12 as well as college students in the 100 and 200 levels of Spanish.
I teach using video clips and films created by Spanish directors in Spanish, use magazines, books, recipes in Spanish, and music, dance, and history of Spanish speaking countries.
I have several different support strategies students, especially in literacy.
I provide gestures to help students remember phrases.
The most important part of my lessons is that both the student and I use as much Spanish as possible.
