Both my undergraduate and graduate studies were done in Ball State University. My Bachelor of Science degree consisted of double majors and double minors. My majors were in Biology and Pre-Medicine, while my minors were in Chemistry and Business. Such diverse course of study allowed for my cross discipline knowledge base. Furthermore, the numerous labs that came with my classes served as a crucial way of learning through the different types of experimental tools and techniques available. My master of Arts degree was in human physiology, we studied in-depth into each different organ system with long hours labs and rigorous lab reports. As a tutor at the Ball State Learning Center, I taught Biology and Chemistry subjects. I went to medical school for a year. I took classes such as Anatomy, Histology, Molecular and Cellular Biology.
During undergrad I became a Certified Tutor in Biology and Chemistry. I was a Tutor at the Ball State Learning Center. I was a Research Assistant at Ball State University. I did studies on sediment microbial activity of nitrification and Denitrification in aquatic ecosystems.
