I have completed an associate of arts from Jefferson Community College in upstate NY, and a B.A. in Psychology, minoring in social work at Limestone College in SC. I have conducted and completed research presentations at: NASW SC chapter annual conference in Columbia, SC; NASW SC chapter monthly conferences in Spartanburg, SC; American Psychological Association SC chapter annual conference In Myrtle Beach, SC; CSWE annual conference Tampa,
I am a very enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about spreading my joy to students and motivating them towards a desire to learn. I incorporate different teaching techniques in an attempt to excite the student about learning. I believe in guiding students to find solutions and answers themselves to help foster their self worth and confidence.
While pursuing my B.A. In psychology, I technically double majored in the social work program as well. I did not complete 120 hour field placement, therefore did not receive a BSW. I graduated with a GPA of 3.87, and as a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Chi honor societies. Due to my 'non-traditional' age when I graduated, I bring a wealth of life experience to my education and my enthusiasm for learning tends to be contagious!
