Methodology
I teach based on how a student learns best. I feel that real-time practice that reinforces a topic is most efficient in providing a good understanding of a topic, especially in math. With creative writing, it is important to use your imagination. A good sentence starter can hatch an idea that is built upon by the student and me together. This way, I am helping the student expand their horizons and I am simply a helping hand.
Background
I am a dancer from NYC in the Cary, NC area. I have always been a straight-A student and understand concepts well so that I can thoroughly teach a subject. I have not tutored as a regular job in the past, however, I help many of my friends and younger family in any subject they have needed. I have always been math-oriented and have a thorough understanding of all math through Algebra 1. In middle school, I was in an intensive creative writing program for 3 years where I was at the top of my class and am currently in AP Language and Composition.
