Methodology
My teaching is rooted in my time in scouts skills using the EDGE method:
Explain the importance of the skill and show.
Demonstrate the skill.
Guide the student through the skill.
Enable the student to feel confident in his ability to do the skill
Ultimately, I let the student dictate the direction of the session based on his ability to do the skills at hand. If the student struggles with concepts I will take the time to review until the topics are confidently understood.

I am a 25 year old restoration manager working in the bay area. I have taught mainly one student over the two years. I have helped him become more confident in his math skills bring him up from a D average to a high B average
