I model a no child left behind policy aka I tailor sessions in such a way that caters to different learning styles during group sessions. I encourage students to ask questions! Even the ones that may sound silly!
I have a degree in Public Health and Dance studies. I've taken pre-medical classes so I have a breadth of knowledge in the sciences and humanities. I've taken college level chemistry since high school and I've also had experience in dance teams as well as a dance company!
I met Zina at the tutoring center at my community college. She had been hired as a math tutor, and approached me after hearing the receptionist tell me that there were no available chemistry tutors.Even though it wasn't her job, she knew the material so she offered to help me that afternoon, and for the rest of the semester I met with her twice a week for 2 hours each time. Zina is an incredible tutor, and I fully credit her with the A I received in that class. She is extremely warm, kind, and patient, and is willing to take the time to make sure that the material is understood. I cannot recommend Zina enough
