I typically send out a 1-hour long diagnostic exam to my student prior to the first lecture. From there I try to focus on the fundamental areas that the student is struggling with. I understand that my students are busy with school work and therefore I assign them a moderate amount of homework. I definitely give them more work when they are on break. Last but not least, I also offer homework help.
I am a 4th-year Biology major at UC San Diego. I started tutoring students as a sophomore in high school which is when I fell in love with teaching. I am also a Learning Assistant for the General Chemistry series of classes at UCSD.
Kaveh is a good friend of mine, and I've got to know him pretty well over the years. He is a responsible individual who is able to take on challenges and his dedication and work-ethic always amaze me. He will apply the same principles that helped him succeed to his students and help them advance.
