Biology Teacher with 20 years teaching various biology subjects in College and Public School.

Methodology

My teaching methodology is that I assess what each of my student's needs are as a learner. I then use that information to develop an individualized education plan for each student in the subject that I am teaching them in. I feel that as a teacher we must be willing to work with our students strengths and then work with them to minimize their weaknesses.

Background

I have been teaching biology classes since 1988. Over the years I have had quite a few hundred students that I have taught in Anatomy and Physiology, Environmental Science, General Biology I and II, and in Microbiology. My teaching method is based on what is the best learning style for my students. Therefore, I use a Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic approach. I approach each topic that I am teaching with the end result of developing my student's into having an appreciation for science that will lead to mastery of the material.
