Who doesn't love Chicago? Just a quick glance at the skyline from Lake Michigan is enough to make people fall in love with the place. However, there's more to the Second City than impressive skyscrapers and gorgeous architecture.
The city on Lake Michigan is home to a rich and varied culture including theaters, famous architecture, restaurants, shops, and museums with actual dinosaurs!
When it comes to music, Chicago's also famous for the Chicago blues which evolved from classical blues following large waves of migration. However, Chicago also knows how to laugh and is arguably the home of modern improv with many comedians cutting their comedic teeth in the city.
Chicago's also home to passionate sports fans. The Chicago Bulls basketball team gained global fame in the 1990s with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. The Chicago Blackhawks ice hockey team are one of the country's oldest teams and one of the NHL's “Original Six” teams that founded the league and if football's your thing, you've got the Chicago Bears who hold the record for the most Hall of Famers and more victories than any other NFL franchise.
There are also plenty of different places to get academic support in Chicago. In the US, there are around 50 million students in public elementary and secondary schools. Of these, there are almost 400,000 in the Chicago.
Given that Chicago is home to so many public school students, it is also home to a lot of colleges. In fact, Chicago boasts around 670,000 college students. With this many people in education, it's hardly surprising that there are plenty of students being tutored and therefore a lot of demand for academic tutoring jobs, one on one tutoring, online tutoring, and homework help, and a lot of people have decided to become a online tutor. The private tutor market in the US is booming and Chicago is no exception.
It's never been easier to find a tutor and the country’s third-most populous city is home to a lot of different options when it comes to extra tuition. Whether you need a private tutor to help you with an assignment, a math tutor to help you with algebra, calculus, or trigonometry, or just help with study skills to help you prepare for the SAT, ACT, or GMAT, tutoring is probably your best choice.
Those who are struggling in school can benefit from extra tutorials and academic support in order to catch up with their studies. Academic support is great for helping students go back over their classes as well as learn new things. The best tutors can also help students perform better at school and inevitably go to better colleges.
Learning support can also make up for some of the failings of the public schools. Given that the CPS is still suffering from budget problems, academic support might be the answer for students who are struggling.
