Boulder, CO: College student in (Philosophy/Politics/Literature) tutors/consults writing at all levels, and most subjects

Methodology

I am a college junior, studying philosophy, politics, & economics. I love tutoring, but my main focus is on helping students plan/draft/edit papers in any discipline. I also tutor academically in philosophy and literature/English, which can include test prep, or just helping the student understand their material better. I prefer to tutor conversationally, on a peer-to-peer level and am open to students from any age (elementary school through college level).

Background

I have worked as a writing consultant/tutor at Claremont McKenna College for the past 2.5 years, but have been tutoring my peers throughout high school. I consult with about 3 students a week throughout my college semesters. My students frequently give feedback that my help with their writing in the planning and finalizing stages are most helpful, and make the entire process much less stressful.
