Methodology

My teaching approach is to first find out where the student is at with respect to current understanding of the subject matter and to any potential roadblocks. I welcome feedback from the student and parents in order to facilitate communication. From there I will structure a curriculum that best fits the student's needs.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy of religion with a bachelor degree in political science. I took two years of calculus (one in high school and the other in college) and have tutored algebra, geometry, trigonometry, Japanese, and more...
