For lessons, I like to work with content themes as a guide and then frame conversations through that. Interaction is key and working with a student to learn something neither of us knew is part of the fun. Pictures, video clips, and reading are all integral to language acquisition too!
I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Morris as a Sociology major; however, Spanish has been a subject I loved since beginning my journey in the 7th grade. In the fall of 2019 until March 2020, I was working in Spain as an English Teaching Assistant and utilized Spanish in my daily life in interactions with coworkers, students, and in the general community.
