My methodology is very task driven and my goal is to help you hone the skills and acquire the tools that you need to accomplish the task that you want to accomplish in English. Is your goal to engage in casual conversations with your boyfriend's parents? Pass a citizenship test? Get promoted at your job? By identifying your individual goals, we can work together to equip you with the skills you need to reach them.
I am a language lover and teacher who teaches both English and Spanish. I currently teach Spanish at the high school level, but have also taught English to both adult and child learners via private lessons, summer camps, and in classroom settings.

July 2018 & 2019: Salamanca Spain. Worked as a program dean to coordinate student activities and the logistics of an academic immersion program in Salamanca.
March 16-27, 2018: Zaragoza, Spain. Worked in conjunction with two other teachers to plan and lead a trip to Spain for high school students during Spring Break of 2018. Group toured Madrid and Barcelona and engaged in a week-long cultural exchange with students at the Colegio Cristo del Rey in Zaragoza.
July 2016: Segovia, Spain. Taught English at summer camp and travelled throughout the community of Segovia. Visited all major cities and connected the texts studied during MA to their geographical context.
February- June 2016: Granada, Spain. Taught at the University of Granada and gave private English lessons. Traveled through southern Spain. Gained teaching experience and improved fluency in Spanish.
January 2015: Heredia, Costa Rica. TA for winter study abroad program, assisted program director. Lived with a host family, increased Spanish fluency.
January 14-22, 2013: San Marcos, Guatemala. Interpreter for University of Delaware Engineers Without Borders Group. Trip assessed project completed the previous year.
September- December 2012: Granada, Spain. Study abroad.
February- May 2011: Global at Home Program, University of Delaware. Participant in cultural immersion program. Lived with a Guatemalan immigrant family in Georgetown, DE. Volunteered with ESL students in a Georgetown elementary school.
