Methodology
I am available for lessons for any age. I am focused on determining areas of strengths and areas of need and building up from prior knowledge to help facilitate understanding. I am very patient and sensitive to a student's development. I will never rush a student to the next step unless we both feel they are ready. I believe each person advances at their own pace and when it's right for them.

I've been an English teacher and reading specialist for over 10 years in the public schools and the private sector. I have a BA in English and a Masters in Secondary Education. I have taught students from four years old to over eighty years old. I am also a published author and freelance editor.
