About Édith-Émilie
Originally from north of Montréal, I grew up in Orléans, a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario. I was very fortunate to grow up in such a bilingual area, where I could excel in both official languages. I attended the University of Ottawa and graduated in Translation Studies. I had been working as a professional French translator for over 20 years and look forward to sharing my expertise and my knowledge of the French language and to helping you enhance and perfect your abilities in this subject.

As a French Canadian, native French speaker and professional translator, I bring with me over 20 years of experience in French translation and writing. I can help elevate your conversational skills and writing techniques as well explain subtleties in Molière's language. I can also help look over and correct documents and ensure tone and content are appropriate for the intended public.
An initial meeting (no charge) will determine your goals, expectations, and where to start. I will make recommendations and a first lesson can be booked.
My methodology will depend on your current level of French and your objectives.
