About May
I have extensive experience teaching both online and in-person, working with a diverse range of students in Indonesia and New Zealand as a Chinese language educator. Skilled in teaching both adults and children, I design engaging, interactive lessons that keep students motivated and actively involved. I am proud to have been awarded first prize in the International Chinese Teacher Competition and have successfully coached many students to achieve outstanding results in Chinese language competitions. Additionally, I have helped numerous learners pass the HSK Level 4 and 5 exams with excellent scores.

I believe learning Chinese should be enjoyable and stress-free. I create a welcoming, interactive classroom where adults and children alike feel motivated to participate and build confidence. My lessons focus on developing all language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—with special attention to improving oral fluency. I have rich experience teaching HSK levels 1 to 9 and supporting students through successful exam preparation. My specialties include Business Chinese and daily conversation, helping learners gain practical language skills they can use in real-life work and social situations.
