I like to relate to the students interests and backgrounds. Student interaction is a big part of my teaching. I like to notice what the students may be having difficulty with on tests and assignments. I like to praise students when they do an assignment well. Usually, this includes comments on paper.
I taught school for over twelve years. I worked in business many more years. I am highly skilled in most computer applications. I taught: English, Business, Computers, ESL, History and Economics. I have tutored for a high school in Math and English.

Adult Basic Education part-time. Part-time teaching of GED, ESL, and Computer Applications for Navarro College, Dallas ISD, and Grand Prairie ISD., much of this was on a contract basis and is also listed above under self-employment. Federal grants management as a part of position, including pre and post testing, compiling and writing results. Purchase of franchise in which teachers were hired and trained for computer classes to pre-school and school age children.
Bella de Pilla, Inc. worked with the Dallas World Trade Center and Market areas including imports. All marketing, human resources, tax, and bookkeeping for the corporation designed and implemented. Contract work as a Market Specialist for premier lines of perfume, ended due to economics and company discontinued the program. Grant writing and overseeing of grants.
