I try to approach teaching with an openness to the student's learning style. I find it most helpful to ask a few questions to determine how he or she learns best, and we can then formulate a plan for instruction that can keep the student engaged and learning.
I am a organic chemistry graduate student with experience instructing four organic chemistry lab courses and two general chemistry recitations. My students have either performed at or above average compared to their peers under the instruction of others. I have had 3 years of experience with scientific research, in particular with natural product synthesis.
