I am right now getting my Master's degree in Foreign and Second Language Education in The Ohio State University. I have already had almost two-year study of language education till now. I am eager to apply what I have learned at school to helping my students with their language learning, especially Chinese language learning.
I have already had quite a few teaching experience since my college years. I have been an intern English teacher in a Chinese middle school for one summer when I was in my third year of college. I have been an English tutor for a 15-year-old boy for one year and he was admitted to a good American high school finally. And I have been doing language exchanging with an American girl for over one semester in Columbus, Ohio.
As a people whose native language is not English, Jia really helps me a lot in learning this language. She is passionate and experienced, she can point out my mistakes quickly and tell me how to improve myself quickly. She is my friend but also a good teacher. So I think she can be a trustworthy teacher!!
I was initially impressed with Jia's enthusiasm, communication skills and professional demeanor when I became her friend four years ago. she consistently demonstrated positive attitude on everything and I heartily endorse her for the tutor position.
