About the lesson

Céili has been teaching private lessons to students of all ages and musical backgrounds for about 10 years, and currently teaches at NEC Preparatory School, the Kithara Project, the Community College of Rhode Island, and EKS music school as well as privately. She received her Master's Degree from the New England Conservatory in 2019. Ceili has taught all styles, drawing from her classical training and music education background to improve technique and musical understanding that benefits all levels and styles. From beginner to advanced levels, she uses a variety of teaching methods to create a personalized lesson to fit the needs of the student. With a background in the Suzuki method, she has experience launching young students into guitar playing in a fun and effective way, while incorporating learning notation and music theory where appropriate. She is accepting a limited amount of students in the Boston area.

For her private students, she creates a full educational experience, including putting together duos and ensembles with fellow students, as well as organizing seasonal concerts for students to perform in, for those who are interested!
