I teach developing cellists how to be the most comfortable and confident musicians they can be! We start every lesson with a brief warm-up to promote a healthy approach to the instrument, and close by taking notes on what we learned in order to best prepare students for effective and intentional practice. With the help of the most well-renowned method books and solo repertoire, I prepare my students for musical fulfillment and success.
Through my involvement in youth programs and private teaching, I have been mentoring young students for over 5 years. I currently have a dynamic and growing private studio of students from beginning to intermediate levels and between the ages of 10 and 50.
Cellists I have guided have won auditions and advanced to college music programs all over the country.
I teach lessons virtually (via Zoom or other reliable video chat services), and I provide all necessary sheet music for study.
