Classics Ph.D. with 9+ years' experience in teaching and perfect SAT scores offers Latin and SAT prep help

Methodology

I'm an experienced Latin teacher and skilled test taker, and can teach you or your child how to do what I do. Come to me to learn not only the basic content or a course or test, but also the skills that top students and scholars use. If you're looking for the inside scoop on how scholars translate or how test writers design tests, and instruction on how to use that knowledge to get top grades and scores, reach out and we'll set up a session!

Background

I started tutoring in high school, and I've learned a lot since then! I finished a Ph.D. in Ancient Greek Literature at CU Boulder at the end of 2019, and spent most of that time teaching classes. Before that I got my B.A. at Bryn Mawr College. I've previously taught Latin and Greek as foreign languages, Latin and Greek literature in translation, and Roman and Greek history and culture, and have been doing SAT and essay tutoring this year as well. And back in high school I taught reading skills to children! So from the most basic to the most advanced, I've taught it and I can help you out.
