My teaching method is to ask students what they currently know, allow them to infer on things they don't know and work with them to build on the knowledge they already have. In group settings, I like to have discussions about the subjects so that students can help each other out and learn from each other as much as they learn from me. I've found that this is a really effective way to learn and retain knowledge! I can teach both high school and college level biology.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota in the spring of 2020 with a B.S. in Biology and now I am currently a Public Health graduate student at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. I was a teaching assistant for an undergraduate level course for 1 year and helped teach/manage about 90 students per semester. I also have led discussions and lessons of smaller groups of about 10 students as a Welcome Week leader for my University.
