I realize that when students tell others that they don’t understand what is going on, they mean there is a specific concept they do not understand, not that they are lost entirely. To figure out the root of the confusion, it requires a lot of communication and analysis on the student's understanding of the material. If we can identify this immediately and develop the solution based on this, we will not only make the process of learning a lot easier but also raise their confidence at the subject.
I’m currently a Junior in college, and I have just finished general chemistry I and II, which I got an A on. I have also taken AP chemistry in high school, and therefore I am extremely familiar with all the topics covered in high school and college chemistry. Since chemistry is my favorite subject, I am passionate about teaching others and help them learn the material in a more efficient way. I have seen my peers struggling to understand a certain concept or problem application, and I realized that there might be numbers of other students feeling overwhelmed and stuck in the same situation. I want to help them learn more quickly and easily and hopefully my love for chemistry could inspire them.
