I give lessons to college age down to middle school level students. Usually I approach a lesson by asking one question at a time and using simple terms as an introduction to the subject matter. I've found that asking the student to explain themselves in their own words/explaining how they got to an answer really helps improve their problem solving skills.
I am a college student, I have been tutoring for a little over 6 years, and I have tutored over 20 students. The students I have tutored see their grades and work ethic drastically improve. I have taken 2+ years of college level classes in the subjects I like to teach.

Anna really helped me improve my essay writing and also helped me understand how to analyze different kinds of literature (poems, novels, essays, etc). I think Anna is a great tutor and I always felt comfortable with her; she even helped me with other subjects I was struggling with. My grades got better and I felt a lot more confident going into exams or doing different writing assignments. Loved her! Definitely would recommend :)
