College Student with experience teaching music offers voice and piano lessons in Provo
Methodology
My teaching method is to understand what the goals are of the student and then identify strengths and weaknesses. I focus on teaching the student how the voice works, including focus on strengthening and improving chiaroscuro.
I am good at focusing on the basic and not overcomplicating things. I am also good at listening to the student and his or her goals.
Background
I am a student at Brigham Young University currently applying to the Music Education program. I have performed in choirs for 10 years, competed in state competitions and placed very high. I have also had 8 years of classical voice training and have recently taken on contemporary voice training. I have taught voice and piano lessons previously and can help anyone from experienced musicians to those who are tone deaf.
