About Tressa

I have been playing volleyball ever since I can remember. Out of high school, I was recruited to play at Idaho State University where I was the MVP of the Big Sky Conference. During the last 7 summers, I have coached over 50 skills camps at high schools throughout the western U.S. After graduating, I became the assistant coach at Century High School and helped them to a 4A State Championship our second season.

My philosophy on coaching is very simple. I believe that in order to be an outstanding volleyball player, you must have outstanding fundamentals. All of my tutoring sessions start by building on the fundamental skills of volleyball, closely following the program developed by Carl McGown. I believe in positive reinforcement and demonstration to help players reach their full potential.
