Methodology

I like to start off by getting to know my tutees well and then creating goals together; we will work towards those and adjust them as we see necessary. My teaching method is based on memorization and prioritizing speaking the language. I like to play out scenarios and teach the proper phrases for each one depending on the context, for real world usage.

Background

I am a rising junior attending a top boarding school in Connecticut. I have tutored other students there, in grades above and below me. I recently studied abroad in Spain to expand my cultural understanding of the mother of Spanish. I am Colombian and consequently interact in Spanish at the daily level with my family.
