My approach is to show how something is done and describe why I did it. I firmly believe that knowing why something is done is just as important as how it is done. I am also friendly and like to get to know the people that I tutor.
I am a comic artist and experienced illustrator with 2 years of tutoring experience who is working on 2 webcomics and helps her peers with formatting and drawing theirs. I can show you how to use references, how to color and shade, and how to use different tools.
I can accept students at any level and can show from the basics to more advanced techniques. My cancellation policy is that id like to be notified 24 hours in advance if you'd like to cancel. I however understand that life throws you curveballs and I won't be upset if an emergency comes up. By the fall I will be able to receive students near Boston in person.
I design T-shirts and logos for private companies, draw 2 ongoing webcomics, and assisted and very closely worked with a graphic designer for 3 years.
