Methodology

I would like to give lessons to students in elementary school through high school. For the upper grades my focus would be on science although I am willing to help in other areas if I can.

The structure of my lessons addresses background knowledge behind the question or topic, assessing prior knowledge of the student, then scaffolding the work to a point the student understands the information and can answer the question. I will provide feedback to ensure the response is complete and the topic is understood.

As a teacher, I like to gain as much information as possible and allow the student discover information and make connections on their own (with guidance) as much as possible.
