I have received a BS in Microbiology at ASU in 1976.
I became a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1980.
I became an Emergency Medical Technician in 1982 and became a paramedic level ,progressing through the ladder of trainings and working until 2007 when I retired as a Paid on Call Paramedic in 2007. During this entire time, I worked a full time dental practice in Payson Arizona and Tonto Basin Arizona.
I am experienced in training young and old in my various work experiences throughout the last 35 years. Being a Scoutmaster for the past 28 years, I have enjoyed the challenges of helping others understand concepts in scouting , prehospital care, and math. I find success to be a joy and can help even the most defiant young person.
I have taught 20-35 in major classroom and have taught my dental assistants at the chairside one on one with the patient. I have taught 8 dental assistants for the Distributive Occupational Education program at Payson High School. Two of these young ladies have furthered their educations and have become Dental Hygenist. My only male assistant became a dental equipment representative for Patterson Dental Corp. I have received a plaque and recognition at an award celebration for each of my dental assistant students.
