My teaching method is to figure out how each student thinks about maths and try to explain the lesson in that form. For example, I group numbers together by how they complete the whole. Each kid has their own way of thinking about maths, and I try to help connect the current lessons to that way of thinking.
I'm a Duke graduate who loves math! I studied psychology in college, but my true passion lies with problem-solving (and math). I tutored a lot in high school, helping several students get up to grade-level in geometry, algebra, and precalculus.
