Methodology
My teaching approach is tailored to each individual student and focuses around finding out each student learns best and building a test taking strategy around that. It is incredible what one can do when one has a goal and a reason, so goal setting and planning are integral to my teaching approach.
Background
After getting a 22 on my first ACT practice test I was discouraged but determined. I self studied every book I could get a hold of and eventually began to formulate unique strategies for the test on my own. Within a few months of hard focused work I brought my score into the 99th percentile. My methods are unorthodox, but work. Over the past years I've helped other students outscore me and get into their top choice college. I hope to develop the same creative thinking processes and dedication in all of my students.
