About Maya

I am an Economics tutor with 4 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over this time, I have successfully guided around 150 students, helping them understand complex economic concepts and develop strong analytical skills. I cover subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International Economics, Development Economics, and Public Policy.

My teaching philosophy focuses on empathy, problem-solving, and motivation. I understand each student’s unique learning style and adapt my lessons to ensure clarity and engagement. I use real-life examples, case studies, and data analysis to make economics practical and relevant. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and actively participate in discussions.

Many of my students have improved their grades, gained confidence, and developed a strong foundation in Economics. My goal is to make learning economics enjoyable, meaningful, and empowering, preparing students not only for academic success but also for understanding the world around them.

Motivation is central to my method—I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation in every lesson.

By combining structured guidance with encouragement, I help students gain confidence, master economic principles, and achieve success in exams, assignments, and future academic or career goals.
