Methodology

Molly’ tutoring focuses on activating her student’s curiosity, and ultimately, inspiring students' long-term interest in taking responsibility for their intellectual and personal growth. She has much experience. Hailing from sunny Palos Verdes, California, Molly attended Chadwick school, a highly prestigious prep school in the area. She therefore understands the variety of challenges, concerns, and demands of the college prep environment and is excited share her knowledge and expertise with students and families to ensure a successful experience.

Molly is one of those motivational tutors and role models, every student and parent dreams of having. Not to mention, her proven, successful results from her 8+ years of extensive tutoring experience.

Ivy-league graduate Molly completed her undergraduate studies with not one, but two degrees. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University where she received Departmental Honors for her major in Drama and Theatre Arts. She additionally graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America with a major in Modern Jewish Studies. When she is not tutoring, she works as an award-winning playwright, director, and actor.

Molly is that rare combination of an excellent academic and test prep tutor. She has been tutoring all major tests students encounter (SAT, ACT, ISEE, SHSAT, SSAT, TACHS, TEOFL, State Tests etc) as well as an extremely wide range of academic subjects ranging in all regular, honors, and AP levels. Recent successes include a student who raised her ACT score from a 27 to a 35 and a student with severe ADHD, who raised his SAT score 300 points. She also works as an educational consultant, so is very well equipped to assist students with college essays and applications.

A few months ago Molly began working with my daughter to help her improve her math standardized test taking skills. Already we have seen a significant improvement in my daughter's math grade as well as a soaring confidence in all of her subjects. I feel that Molly truly motivates my daughter to be a better student. My daughter is also very comfortable with Molly and enjoys her tutoring sessions.
