My teaching/tutoring method is to make Spanish fun and NOT BORING. Whether it is vocabulary or grammar, I try to think of games that can be played because you can learn by playing games. I also like to include music videos, cartoons, art and images that enhance my lessons. Whatever your tutoring needs, I would focus in on what you need to learn, and then try to teach it to you in a fun way that helps you learn it well.
I am a fun, energetic, native Spanish speaker. I learned Spanish at a young age because I lived in Veracruz, Mexico from age 4 to 11. For the past 5 years, I taught Spanish to middle schoolers at a private middle school. I am passionate about the Spanish language and sharing it with others.
I charge the full fee of the class if cancelled under 24 hours.
Student-focused, self-motivated, bilingual professional seeking to use my skills, training and experience to obtain an online or in-person Spanish tutoring position.

I met Stephanie when she was working on her master’s degree in New York City. She is one of the smartest and funniest people I know. Stephanie shares her love of language in the most approachable of ways. With Stephanie as your guide, you will learn and have fun doing it. She is kind and empathetic, and also no-nonsense and patient. When practicing Spanish with Stephanie, I always felt supported and encouraged. If only my junior high Spanish teacher was as creative and effective as Stephanie, I’d have become bilingual long ago.
