I have worked as a Mechanical Engineer and have taught as An Associate Professor for both Math and Science at the College level. I like to use my Engineering experience to give examples of how to apply math concepts. Math is the language or science and technology. It s how we quantify and model the world we live in.
I have taught many different levels of math: problem solving math, consumer math, college math, Algebra I and II, and some courses in Trigonometry and Geometry. I have also taught science courses including: Physics, and Meteorology. Other courses I have taught include Drafting and Design courses using AutoCAD, leading to an associates of science in Drafting and Design. In this curriculum I taught 10 course including: Fundamentals of AutoCAD, Multi-View Drawing, 3D Modeling, MEP (3 courses covering each area), Revit Architecture, and SketchUP. I like to relate my engineering experiences to math, science, and technology principles in order to help illustrate how they are used in the practice.
