Im an engineering student at Johns Hopkins and am looking to teach the SAT and mathematics anywhere prior to the collegiate level.
I firmly believe in letting a student explore and develop their own style of approaching a subject. Practice is key so I do assign some homework but the bulk of instruction is class based.
I believe in giving lots of personal time to my students and am willing to go the extra mile (put in extra time for my students as long as the interest is reciprocated).
I've taught mathematics as an assistant for a year back home. Have individually tutored a few high school children. Most of my students scored A's or A+s in their GCE examinations. I also have a 1550 in the SAT and am willing to work with students on that.
