I believe that each student has a unique way of understanding information, and I help them find which methods work best for them when it comes to writing. I show them a basic and simple writing process, and then help them personalize it to best fit their needs. I also believe that patience is one of the most important traits a tutor can have, as well as remaining continuously supportive of the students' journey. Building confidence in a subject in which they might be struggling is my ultimate goal.
I am a current student at NYU, but have been studying literature and creative writing since the 6th grade. I have been trained as a tutor since high school, where I volunteered at the Writing Center, and have about 4 years experience teaching.
