On average, I attend three to five trainings per year to improve my teaching skills.
I'm a professor of English and Humanities at the Community College of Denver and Metropolitan State University in Denver. I can meet with you in person or work with you online to improve your writing, your English skills, or to prepare for exams and other Humanities homework assignments. Classes I've taught are as follows: English Composition (all levels), Literature, World Mythology, Humanites 101 from the Paleolithic to the Post Modern Age, ESL at all levels, Speech, Logic and Critical Thinking. I also work quite often as a writing tutor for the schools I teach at. Before becoming a professor, I worked for five years as an ESL and American Culture teacher for Teikyo Loretto Heights University and I taught GED classes for a non-profit agency. I also speak Spanish and could give lessons for beginners.
I love kids and welcome the opportunity to work with younger age groups.
