English MA graduate gives literature, composition, and language classes at home in Brighton.

About the lesson

My teaching method is essentially student-led, with a strong focus on what students want to learn. My ideal class begins with a lecture and point-by-point discussion of the work of literature we're reading, followed by a short activity or student-led discussion. I enjoy giving students the space to discuss what interests them about the pieces we're reading and examining.
