I am currently an undergraduate at Andrews University, studying English, Pre-Law (minoring in Political Science). My time at my university so far has taught me more about humanity from my English courses, compared to any other means. As a student myself, I understand the worries, frustrations, and delights of education courses. This is why I believe it is easier for me to teach students ranging from K-12 grade, who want to further their education experience. Many of my college professors choose an interactive, hands-on approach to learning, which I find especially helpful. I will implement this methodology into my own teaching practices to draw out the best results from students.
Ever since I was a young girl, I enjoyed the basic principles of reading and writing. English always proved to be my favorite subject in school, so it came as no surprise when I declared English as my major. Whether classical literature or a fictional young-adult novel, I enjoy reading and the lessons that can be taught from it. I appreciate writing as well because I cherish the ability to express one's thoughts through words. I value these crafts, which is why I want to help others understand the beauty of words.

I am Caryn's mother but also her one of the Pastors at her church. Caryn has worked at summer camps for the last 4 years and also was a bible teacher for her youth group. She is very organized, and both a good teacher and student. She works well with kids and is very knowledgeable and well rounded when it comes to most subjects.
I was the Summer Camp Director at Camp Yavapines in 2016 and Caryn worked for me that summer. She is an excellent worker and a great individual. She demonstrates wonderful people skills and is very responsible. She was one of our best staff that year, therefore I have no reservations in giving her the highest of recommendations.
