English Prof/U of M Alumna Offers Remote College Admissions & Scholarship Essay Consultation
Methodology
My student-centered pedagogy revolves around the Socratic Method, which is adaptable to meet students' remote instruction needs. While it is unethical to write students' papers, I provide feedback on the content, prose style, and grammatical effectiveness of students' own writing. We will review the selected university's essay guidelines, the student's essay draft, and ways to improve its overall effectiveness. I will respond to any updated drafts during subsequent sessions.

As an instructor, I've assisted students--who transferred to elite universities--with their admissions/scholarship Statements of Purpose essays. Rates
Details
The rates are based on students, who have a basic proficiency in the English language. A higher rate may apply for someone whose language skills require more extensive consultation. The cancellation policy requires 24 hours advance notification. A failure to cancel an appointment will result in a 50 percent cancellation fee, given that another student or individual will have been denied the same time slot.
