When I teach writing, my focus is on clarity, conciseness and making the most out of the medium in which the writer is engaging the audience. For those who are looking to improve their communication skills in a business setting, I spend a lot of time on persuasive techniques.
I have a PhD in American Literature and have taught for many years in universities in New Jersey and Washington State. Courses include Technical and Professional Communication; Science, Technology and Society; Composition and Rhetoric; American and World Literature; and Cultural Studies.
