I have been teaching grades 5-12 for the last 8 years, both in a formal classroom and in nonprofit organizations.
I have taught classes as small as 5 students to as large as 35 students.

I majored in English Literature and Theatre Arts in college.
I received my teacher training through Delta State University in coordination with my commitment to Teach for America.
As a teacher, I believe that writing and discussion are the key to learning. I encourage my students to think deeply and ask questions-not complete worksheets and do busy work.
