In my teaching, I emphasize student-centered learning, student ownership, and self-directed work. My students learn to embrace reading and writing again, finding the joy in both. I challenge my students to expand their reading--to discover what they love--and to find their voice in their writing and harness the written word as an artistic means of self-expression, as well as communication.

Details

- Free sessions are only half an hour long and do not involve any tutoring: they are a means to meet and discuss students' needs/goals--an opportunity for me to "get a feel" for clients and students and to determine whether we are a good fit for each other.

- I charge per session, not by the hour.

- Rates listed above are inaccurate: SuperProf keeps adjusting them. See link below for accurate pricing. Rates are for online/Zoom sessions, only. Additional charges will apply for travel/in-person tutoring.

- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start-time for that lesson. If a cancellation is not made on time, the missed lesson will be charged at full price.

- Missed/Cancelled lessons must be rescheduled promptly; scheduling priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
